Atelier Yumia Heads to PSO2 New Genesis 

Sega announced that an Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land crossover will appear in the MMORPG PSO2 New Genesis, and it also detailed the promised Touhou Project event. The Touhou Project Scratch Ticket with costumes, login bonus, “Bad Apple” Music Disc, and other cosmetics all start appearing on August 6, 2025.

Pretty much every Touhou Project cosmetic appeared ahead of its debut next week. The login campaign involves seven BP character acrylic stand displays of characters like Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Flandre Scarlet, Remilia Scarlet, Cirno, and Sakuya Izayoi. The AC Scratch Ticket: Touhou Project Style features Reimu, Marisa, an Flandre costumes, Bullet Pattern Build Parts, weapon camp, accessories, and the Music Disc: “Bad Apple.”

Much of the Touhou Project PSO2 New Genesis items appeared in the August 2025 Update Information 1 video. It is prefaced by a referece to the “Bad Apple” music video.

Details about the Atelier Yumia PSO2 New Genesis crossover are more vague. We know the Scratch Ticket for it will involve costumes inspired by Yumia, Isla, Nina, and Rutger. There will be a Flammi Mag Device. The announcement also teased ARKS IDs, emotes, idle poses, and Vital Gauges inspired by the JRPG.
